The most successful entrepreneurs have a similar mindset when it comes to success. A person can reach the highest level of success in business and in life by learning about, adopting and mastering these fundamental perspectives:
Step 1: Commit to “Self-Mastery.” Think to yourself that you will be successful and you will master the skill you are trying to obtain. Keep your focus trained on the many opportunities to bulletproof your mastery, grow a business that serves more people and live a life of freedom, action, and community.
Step 2: Commit to the 80/20 Principle. Focus on mastering your top priorities. In business, 20% of your efforts will account for 80% of your results. The key to becoming a highly successful entrepreneur, is to define that 20%, and focus on it. In real estate, the 20% should focus on 3 L’s: Leads, Listings, & Leverage.
Step 3: Move from E to P (Entrepreneurial to Purposeful – Moving in entrepreneurial to purposeful is the difference between just doing something and actually mastering it.) The biggest difference between doing what is natural (entrepreneurial) and being purposeful (doing the things that are unnatural for you), is that by committing to proven models and systems, and holding yourself accountable, you are able to breakthrough your fundamental ceiling of achievement and be the one that defines what you can achieve in your career.
Step 4: Make Being “Learning Based” the foundation of your action plan. This means that you are willing to be taught, willing to participate in training and actively pursue learning. Being a learning-based professional means, that you participate in all of the education, training, and self-development that your company offers. This is the foundation of your action plan to achieve your goals for your career.
Step 5: Remove limiting beliefs. The most successful professionals, avoid limited thinking and focus on unlimited thinking. When you have unlimited thinking you can have unlimited career success. You are always looking to achieve your next level of growth.
Step 6: Be accountable. Have the “you can count on me” attitude in everything you do. The greatest factor that dictates the success of an individual’s career, will be their ability to be consistent and persistent with their daily lead generation activities, and their willingness to hold themselves accountable and adapt to the industry.
